(02)Overview
Stormborn develops autonomous maritime technology. Its first marketing site had to present X-WAVE and SEAFENCE so investors, defence buyers and maritime operators could understand the company and each product. We designed and built the launch website in Webflow, combining product imagery, capability information and briefing requests, with research shaping the content hierarchy and the technical visual direction.
- 01
Audience research
We studied what investors, defence buyers and maritime operators need in order to assess Stormborn.
- 02
Product hierarchy
X-WAVE and SEAFENCE sit within one shared structure, each with its own story tied back to the mission.
- 03
Visual direction
Maritime imagery, technical graphics and a radar-inspired visual language set the tone.
- 04
Webflow launch build
A responsive site with hero video, capability sections and briefing prompts.

(03)The approach
Two specialist products, several audiences and one company to introduce.
Investors, defence buyers and maritime operators bring different questions to the same technology. The site had to explain the shared mission first, then introduce each product on its own terms, so visitors understood what they were looking at before asking for a briefing.

(04)Collaboration
Research shaped the product hierarchy; maritime engineering shaped the visual direction.
Stage 01
Discovery
Research how investment and maritime audiences evaluate the company and its technology.
Stage 02
Structure
Define the product hierarchy and the information required to introduce X-WAVE and SEAFENCE.
Stage 03
Implementation
Design and develop the Webflow website with maritime imagery, video and technical visual details.
Stage 04
Delivery
Connect the capability story with briefing prompts for prospective partners, buyers and investors.
(05)Design language
A visual language drawn from maritime engineering.
Charcoal surfaces and deep sea imagery establish the setting, with high-visibility yellow used for emphasis and actions. Radar lines and condensed headings carry the technical character through every page.
